butter cookies
I kept eating and eating. Probably butchered the whole tin of Danish cookies in as I spaced out in front of the computer for half the afternoon. Earlier in the afternoon, I had rapid and frenzied email exchanges with my internship manager, research supervisor and Engineering Graduate Studies coordinator. Confirmed an internship in Singapore which is just walking distance from my house. Decided on a project title. Back in the running for a sponsorship. Everything just fell into place. How I ended up with a tin of butter cookies doesn't seem so hard to understand now, right?
"a smoking gun isn't enough to incriminate me!". I defended.

safe sex
I was reading through the articles concerning Operations Research as preparation for my internship and research project. When i chanced upon an article on Safe Sex Makespan. What has safe sex got to do with operations research? Curious, I clicked on the link. ah huh.
"Safe sex makespan problem: is used in operations research as an example that the cheapest capital cost often leads to dramatic increase in operational time, but that the shortest operational time need not be given by the most expensive capital cost." - Wikipedia
Read more about it here. Practice Safe Sex.
maybe i can propose a research project topic on it. partners? no i mean volunteers?

style
A friend recently told me he is starting to see a style develop in my photographs. After going through all my photos, I am starting to see it too. We were unable to put a descriptive word to it, but to me it is clearly there. Is it the way I framed the photos? Or is it the objects that I took pictures of? They do look like standard post cards shots. Do they looked too standard and too proper? or just wait for me to become famous. and I will have the critics figure that out for me.
I spend quite a lot of time looking at other people's photos. like this one here -> http://www.pbase.com/nivlek28/weddings. All his wedding photos just make me want to get hitched now. I saw his photos and realized that I have not tried taking photos of people. I would like to be able to someday capture emotions, instead of sceneries, through the lens.
ah weddings..

paris
A chronograph of our day's trip with my new camera. As summer approaches, the days gets longer and the sun rises earlier. Determined to get a sunrise shot of the Eiffet tower, we started out day early. We are out of the school just as the drunk friday night party group makes their way back.
